I have two versions. I had a childhood version like normal kids without my disability. and now I am in version 2 with my disability. V3 is my future.

My Story: I was not born with any physical deformity. I could run, jump and walk like a normal kid. But, at the age of five, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). My parents immediately started my treatment and I started showing signs of improvement. But after 2 years, I got affected with AAD (atlantoaxial dislocation) in my spinal cord on c1 -c2. It was a near-death experience for me, following which I did two operations from CMC Vellore, in 2001. Although my neck dislocation was fixed, the doctor said that I won’t be able to move my neck. As it was a financially challenging time for my parents, they couldn’t afford my treatment for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), and so I skipped treatment for one whole year. But, due to negligence in getting the right treatment, my body became completely inactive. Although I sought treatment from a hospital in Kolkata, the multiple steroid injections backfired, leaving me in much worse condition than I initially was. Present Condition: Today, I’m a 30 -years-old young guy, who cannot move his neck and can’t even stand or walk. All my joints have become stiff with deformity. At present, I’m undergoing an Ayurvedic treatment for almost 6 years, which has helped in reducing the pain totally, but I’m afraid that I’ll never recover from the joint deformity. I am working as an Assistant Teacher at Raymonikhaki F. P. School Besides that, I am passionate about singing, painting, designing and learning new things every time. I think positively. I like to stay positive. It's time going on. I still pinging people around all over the world regarding my recovery and mobility. I think the miracle is happening in our lives every moment. one never knows what future holds...perhaps there will be new innovations that might make a difference someday. So, let's see...

আমার নীরব সঙ্গীর,  ( নিখিল কাকু এই শব্দটা উপহার দিয়েছিলেন আমায়। অনেক ভালো লেগেছিল। এটাই বলি ) ইতিকথা। ◼️ KM - 5000 - এর সাথে চার বছর, চার বছুরে উদ‌্‌যাপন, স্মৃতিচারণ, এক টুকরো লেখা, একটি ছোট্ট উপহার ওর ( ◼️ KM - 5000 / নীরব সঙ্গীর ) জন্য -  বহুদিনের স্মৃতি ঘেঁটে ঘেঁটে, হাতড়ে হাতড়ে লেখাটা সত্যিই খুব চাপের ব্যাপার আমার কাছে। আর‌ও চাপ হয়ে যায়, যখন সেই স্মৃতি খুঁজে দেখার মতো বা খুঁজে পাওয়ার মতো সেই অর্থে তেমন কোন কিছুই, যেমন, ছবি, ভিডিও ইত্যাদি অবশিষ্ট থাকে না। বাঃ থাকলেও খুবই সীমিত। তাও, এই স্মৃতি নিয়ে ঘেঁটে ঘুঁটে, হাতড়াতে হাতড়াতে লিখতে বেশ ভালোই লাগে। বলা যেতে পারে, কখনো কখনো কিছু ক্ষেত্রে জীবনে ক্ষণিকের এক চরম প্রশান্তি বয়ে আনে তা! ২০১৬ - এর আগের বছর গুলো ( মূলত ২০০১ থেকে ৬ আগস্ট ২০১৬। একটা রেফারেন্স লিংক দিলাম এখানে -  https://www.facebook.com/arnabkumarhalder/posts/1945551022210904 )  নিয়ে তেমনভাবে হয়তো কথা বলতেই পারব না। বেশ গোলমেলে স্মৃতি। ঘেঁটে ঘুঁটে নিয়ে আসা ভীষণ মুশকিলের। আগেই বলেছি, এই মুশকিলটা আর‌ও অনেক বেশি হয়ে দাঁড়ায় তখন, যখন সেই অর্থে কোন ...

ভুলে যাস না, ক্লাসের ফার্স্ট বয় ছিল এই অর্ণব...

  *আমার ছাত্রজীবনের বন্ধুগন/সহপাঠী,* ভুলে যাস না, ক্লাসের ফার্স্ট বয় ছিল এই অর্ণব।এখন এই হুইলচেয়ারে বসা ছোট্ট মানুষটা। সময়ের ধীর পরিবর্তন, প্রতিকূল পরিস্থিতি, তিন তিন বছর ক্লাসে গ্যাপ দিতে বাধ্য হ‌ওয়া। প্রচন্ড মানসিক চাপ, তীব্র শারীরিক যন্ত্রণা, সবকিছুর পরেও জীবনের দুই বড় পরীক্ষা মাধ্যমিক এবং উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক কোন রকম বিশেষ সুবিধা ছাড়াই সবার সাথে লড়ে পার হয়েছিলাম। ইচ্ছে করে কোন রাইটার, অতিরিক্ত সময় কিছুই নয়। মাত্রাতিরিক্ত পেইনকিলার খেয়ে পরীক্ষা দিয়েছি। আসলেই এটা পরীক্ষা ছিল! অনেকেই নাকি আমার রেজাল্টে খুশি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের সম্মাননা পাওয়া। কত বড় ব্যাপার! শুধু আমি খুশি ছিলাম না। মা খুশি ছিল। তাই আমি খুশি থাকার অভিনয় করছিলাম। মাধ্যমিক ৬৮%, উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক ৬০% এটা অর্ণবের রেজাল্ট হতে পারে না। অর্ণব ১০০ তে ১০০ পাওয়ার ক্ষমতা রাখে। লিখে দেব। ওরকম চাকরি দুচারটে সহজে পেতে পারি। যদিও চাকরি করার ইচ্ছে আমার কখনোই ছিল না... এক নয়, একাধিক মানসিক চাপ, কাজ, পরিবার, সময়, অনিশ্চিত ভবিষ্যত, সবকিছু মিলিয়ে ইদানিং সত্যিই আমি অনেক চাপে থাকি। কত সহজ বিষয় ভুলে যাই। বুঝতে পারি। একদম পড়াশোনা...
